Swedish astronaut, Marcus Wandt, became the third Swede to be launched into space last night.

Wandt described the experience as a 'fantastic ride.

' Radio Sweden's US correspondent, Roger Wilson, was present to witness the moment.

'It was a special experience to feel the powerful forces,' Wilson said.
