Swedish astronaut Marcus Wandt, 43, has embarked on a journey to space.
The rocket carrying Wandt launched from NASA's facility in Florida, marking Wandt as the third Swede to travel to space.
The spacecraft is on a 36-hour journey to the International Space Station (ISS) where numerous experiments will be conducted over the next two weeks.
Part of the mission's focus will be to study the physical and psychological effects of living in confined spaces.
