Sweden's NATO application is under intense discussion in both the Turkish and Hungarian Parliaments.
While the Turkish Parliament has moved the issue to the top of its international agenda, even after hours-long sessions, the Hungarian opposition party has called for an immediate parliamentary session to vote on Sweden's NATO membership.
The move follows reports that Turkey may be on the verge of admitting Sweden into NATO.
Meanwhile, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has invited Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson for talks on Sweden's NATO entry.
Amidst this, another view from Hungary suggests that Sweden does not seem interested in joining NATO, according to Viktor Orban's chief of staff, Gergely Gulyas.
Gulyas also hinted that Hungary might be the last to approve Sweden's application and encouraged Sweden's foreign minister or prime minister to reach out to discuss the problems the Hungarian parliament has linked to Sweden's NATO application.
