The Turkish Parliament is expected to vote on Sweden's NATO application today, with a high chance of approval according to Turkey expert, Paul Levin.

Meanwhile, the opposition in Hungary, which previously promised not to be the last to decide on Sweden's application, has now requested an extra meeting to discuss the matter.

If the Turkish Parliament votes in favor, President Erdogan is expected to officially approve Sweden's entry into NATO.
