Heavy thunderstorms have caused significant flooding and lightning damage in western Sweden.

The storm, which hit on Monday, led to lightning strikes on two houses between Gothenburg and Borås and a small building south of Trollhättan.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.

Many emergency calls were related to flooding, with similar storm-related issues reported in the Oslo area.

SMHI has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms, predicting up to 40 millimeters of rain, potentially causing more flooding in parts of West and Central Sweden.
