Up to 60 millimeters of rain is expected in some areas, raising concerns about flooding.
The storm system is moving northward, affecting regions from Götaland to southern Norrland.
In response to the weather alerts, Västtrafik has cancelled several train departures between Gothenburg and Strömstad, as well as between Gothenburg and Örebro.
The severe weather has already caused significant disruptions, with 9,000 lightning strikes recorded within two hours.
