A yellow warning for torrential rain has been issued by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) for parts of eastern Götaland and Svealand, starting from Friday morning.
Up to 60 mm of rain is expected, with possible hailstorms, posing a risk of flooding in roads, bridges, and basements.
The warning is effective from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Friday and covers regions including Blekinge, Örebro, Västmanland, Uppsala, and Stockholm.
The severe weather conditions could create significant traffic disruptions and property damage.
Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated on weather reports.
