As Sweden braces for a shift in weather, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued a yellow warning for ice slick in southern Norrland for Sunday morning due to expected rain and snow.
This could lead to icy roads in large parts of Västernorrland county and the northernmost parts of Jämtland county.
Meanwhile, the southern parts of the country are set to experience unusually warm temperatures, with some areas seeing highs up to 18 degrees Celsius.
A new front system moving northeast across the country is the cause of these contrasting weather conditions.
The warning remains in effect until 10 a.
m.
Sunday, while the warmer air is expected to stay until the beginning of next week.
