A series of traffic incidents across Västsverige, triggered by unexpected heavy snowfall, has caused chaos on the roads, leading to numerous accidents and road closures.

Among the incidents, a police vehicle slid off the road en route to an accident, a bus and a car collided outside Uddevalla, and several trucks got stuck in snow, causing significant traffic disruptions.

Authorities have issued an orange warning for snowfall in the region, urging drivers to exercise caution.

The snowstorm has resulted in at least 20 reported traffic accidents in just a few hours, highlighting the severe impact of the weather conditions on road safety.
