On Sunday, in Jönköping, a man attacked two police officers, leaving one with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, armed with a sword, was eventually subdued by one of the officers, who was also injured in the process.

Despite his own injuries, the officer managed to stop his colleague's bleeding after shooting the suspect.

The suspect has been arrested and is facing charges of attempted murder.

Both the police officer and the suspect are currently in the hospital, with their conditions reported as serious but stable.
