A 35-year-old man in Jönköping, accused of attempting to murder two police officers, was described by neighbors as a loner who often talked loudly to himself.

However, on the day of the incident, he was reportedly more aggressive, shouting 'sieg heil' and threats of murder.

After the neighbors' reports, the police intervened, leading to an attack on the law enforcement officers.

The suspect is now in custody, facing charges of two counts of attempted murder and assault on a public servant.

The man denies the charges.

The police officer attacked with a sword-like object is now in stable condition.
