Sweden has witnessed a historic early arrival of meteorological summer this year, with Malmö, Kristianstad, and Karlshamn experiencing average daily temperatures of at least 10 degrees Celsius over five consecutive days starting from April 6th.
This marks the earliest onset of summer recorded in the country, surpassing the previous record set in 1906. Meteorologists attribute this phenomenon to global warming, noting that the probability of summer arriving earlier increases in a warmer climate.
While the early summer brings warmth to some regions, other parts of Sweden are still grappling with wintry conditions, including snowfall and blustery winds in the northern areas.
