Sweden has welcomed an unusually early spring this year, with the meteorological spring hitting the west coast and Stockholm's archipelago significantly ahead of schedule.
According to meteorologists, for an official declaration of meteorological spring, the average temperature must remain above zero for seven consecutive days, a benchmark reached by February 15th in several regions.
This phenomenon extends along the coastal strip from Gothenburg to Malmö and marks the earliest onset of spring recorded in recent years.
The rest of the country is expected to experience the spring season soon, as warmer weather begins to spread.
