The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority has released its final report on the fatal accident at Gröna Lund amusement park's Jetline roller coaster.
The report highlights significant flaws in the park's communication and safety protocols, noting that critical information was not provided to manufacturers, which led to improper welding and material processing.
In response, Gröna Lund has decided to permanently close and dismantle the Jetline coaster.
The park's CEO, Jan Eriksson, acknowledged the deficiencies and emphasized the importance of these findings for future safety measures.
A police investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
