A woman in her 50s tragically died in a single-vehicle accident outside Hässleholm on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred around 9:15 PM on Kristianstadsvägen, also known as LV1901, between Ignaberga and Hässleholm.

For reasons still unknown, she lost control of her vehicle, crashing through a wildlife fence at high speed.

Emergency services transported her to the hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries later that night.

Authorities have seized the vehicle and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Family members have been notified of her passing.
