A tragic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon near Skellefteå Airport, resulting in the death of a young woman in her 20s.

The collision involved a motorcycle and a car on County Road 774 in the vicinity of Östra Falmark.

Emergency services, including an ambulance helicopter from Lycksele, responded promptly to the scene.

Despite being airlifted to Skellefteå Hospital, the woman succumbed to her injuries overnight.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident, and the woman's family has been informed of the tragic loss.
