A man was arrested after becoming violent and assaulting a church employee and two police officers in a Stockholm church during a Sunday service.

The incident, witnessed by numerous families, occurred after the man was denied entry to the church.

In the confrontation with the police, one officer was knocked down and another had their hair pulled, necessitating additional police support.

Both officers were sent to the hospital for check-ups, while the church employee suffered a minor injury but declined hospital treatment.

The assailant is now facing charges for assault and violence against officers.
