Kristofer Lundberg, a prominent figure in Vänsterpartiet, has been expelled from the party due to his support for the Palestinian PFLP, a group classified as a terrorist organization.

The decision was made by the party's executive board, citing that Lundberg's actions have caused significant ambiguity regarding the party's stance.

Lundberg criticized the party's policies on Palestine, labeling them as "placard politics" and defended his support for PFLP, describing it as a secular, Marxist, and feminist movement.

The expulsion follows a series of controversies, including a police report filed against Lundberg after an altercation at a Palestine demonstration.

The decision can be appealed to the party congress, but Lundberg has yet to decide on this course of action.
