A fire broke out in two trucks in the residential area of Hudiksvall municipality on Wednesday morning, causing thick black smoke visible from a kilometer away.

The emergency services issued a public warning (VMA), advising residents to stay indoors and close all doors, windows, and ventilation systems.

The warning was lifted shortly before 10 AM as the smoke began to subside.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, and fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

The incident occurred around 8:30 AM, and by 9:30 AM, the situation was under control with the fires extinguished, although some smoke continued to linger.

Emergency services continue to monitor the area to ensure safety.
