A technical fault in a switching station has caused major disruptions in train services between Stockholm and Malmö, as well as the regional �stgötapendeln line.

The issue, which is yet to be resolved, has led to train stoppages and delays affecting numerous stations including Mjölby, Nässjö C, Aneby, Tranås, Boxholm, Mantorp, Vikingstad, Linköping C, Motala C, Skänninge, Linghem, and Kimstad.

Commuters face cancellations and modified routes, with some trains running only between Mjölby-Tranås and Mjölby-Motala.

Services between Mantorp and Norrköping remain unaffected.

Trafikverket has not yet provided a forecast for when normal train operations will resume.
