Train services in and out of Stockholm are severely disrupted following an accident near Årstaberg this morning.
The incident has halted trains to and from Malmö, Göteborg, and other routes, including the blue line of the subway between Hjulsta and Rissne.
While one track has reopened, delays are expected as priority is given to long-distance and regional trains, leaving commuter services still at a standstill.
Traffic is anticipated to resume by 8:30 AM, but no definitive timeline has been provided.
Additionally, issues with switches in Huddinge are affecting services to Uppsala and Märsta.
Commuters are advised to seek alternative travel options as the situation develops.
