Significant disruptions are affecting train and commuter traffic in Stockholm due to accidents this morning.

A collision at Årstaberg has caused a complete halt to commuter trains between Stockholm Central and Älvsjö, impacting services to major cities like Gothenburg and Malmö.

While some long-distance and regional trains have resumed operations after a track was cleared, commuter services remain suspended.

Additionally, a separate incident on the blue line of the subway between Hjulsta and Rissne has caused irregular service, although normal operations have since resumed.

Passengers are advised to use replacement buses while waiting for the situation to stabilize.

The expected resumption time for commuter trains is around 08:30.
