A 16-year-old boy has been sentenced to three years of closed youth care for stabbing his 15-year-old friend to death in Älvsjö, Stockholm.
The incident happened last summer when the victim was on his way to his school prom.
The defendant, who was 15 at the time of the act, claimed self-defense, stating he felt threatened.
However, the Södertörn District Court found no evidence of an attack, ruling out the right to use violence.
