A 41-year-old man was brutally murdered on the streets of Södertälje, Sweden, in October last year in what's believed to be a case of mistaken identity.
The victim had no connections to the criminal underworld and was seemingly in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The shooter, a 19-year-old man associated with the Saltskogsfalangen criminal group, was reportedly aiming for a member of the rival Ronna-falangen group amidst an ongoing violent conflict.
Despite being 17 at the time of the crime, the court sentenced him to nine years and six months in prison for the murder.
Another man was sentenced for weapon offenses and conspiracy to commit murder, while several others accused of involvement were acquitted.
