The healthcare workers' strike in Sweden has expanded, with an additional 1,300 members from Region Värmland joining the action.
The strike began on June 4 and now includes workers from six regions: Stockholm, Västra Götaland, Skåne, Östergötland, Västerbotten, and Värmland.
The healthcare union demands a 15-minute reduction in daily working hours, citing unsustainable working conditions.
So far, negotiations between the union and the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR) have not yielded any results.
There is no end in sight for the strike.
