In the upcoming EU election, 7,946,261 people are eligible to vote in Sweden, marking an increase of 369,000 from the last election in 2019. Among these voters, 572,281 are first-time voters who will have turned 18 by election day.

Early voting starts on May 22, with the final voting day on June 9. The election will determine the 720 members of the European Parliament, who will make crucial decisions on trade, environmental laws, migration, and agriculture.
