Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has expressed readiness to send Swedish troops to Ukraine under specific conditions.
Speaking after a high-level meeting in London, Kristersson emphasized the need for credible structures and U.
S. security guarantees before any deployment.
The meeting, attended by NATO and EU leaders, focused on Ukraine's security and a sustainable peace plan to deter future Russian aggression.
Kristersson highlighted Sweden's commitment to strengthening Ukraine's position ahead of potential peace talks with Russia.
He also noted that Sweden is prepared to increase its defense budget, aligning with NATO's push for higher military spending.
However, Kristersson assured that any decision would prioritize Swedish safety.
