Sweden's Road Authority has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice slipperiness across southern Sweden on Christmas Eve.

The warning is particularly for areas from Uppsala and further south.

The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) expects sudden ice slipperiness in Skåne and several parts of southern and western Götaland.

The warning effects will start from 6 AM on Christmas Eve.

Weather warnings are also issued for snowfall and strong wind on Christmas Eve post the Donald Duck show.

Several traffic accidents have occurred due to the harsh weather conditions.
