Västtrafik, the public transport operator in western Sweden, has announced the cancellation of several train departures on Wednesday morning due to an approaching storm.
The affected routes include trains between Gothenburg and Strömstad via Trollhättan, as well as services between Gothenburg and Örebro.
The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued a yellow warning for heavy rainfall, expecting 40-60 millimeters of rain in a short period across large parts of Götaland and southwestern Värmland.
The train cancellations will be in effect from 6 AM on Wednesday until 4 AM on Thursday.
Västtrafik anticipates resuming normal train operations on Thursday morning.
