Two men are missing after a swimming incident in the Pite River near a campsite in Älvsbyn, according to reports from SOS Alarm and Piteå-Tidningen.

The alarm about a potential drowning was raised around 11 AM, prompting a search operation by the rescue services, which concluded at 4 PM.

However, police continue to search for the missing individuals with the assistance of divers.

In a separate incident, two rear-end collisions occurred in Skåne, causing significant traffic disruptions.

The road is closed in both directions, and it remains unclear if anyone was taken to the hospital.
