On Monday afternoon, a significant collision involving two buses, one of them a school bus, occurred on the E10 near Hakkas, southeast of Gällivare.

The crash led to three individuals being hospitalized with minor injuries, including students among the 24 involved from the school bus, out of a total of 50 to 55 people affected by the incident.

Initial reports indicate that one bus rear-ended the other, prompting a massive response from emergency services, including ambulances and a helicopter.

The road was temporarily closed, causing disruptions, but was reopened by 17:00. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
