A serious traffic accident occurred on the E18 in Grums, Värmland, when a bus and a car collided head-on near the Gamla slottsbron.

The incident took place shortly before 1 PM on Wednesday, leading to a complete traffic halt in both directions.

Emergency services, including police, fire brigade, and multiple ambulances, responded promptly to the scene.

The bus, carrying approximately 36 passengers, reported no severe injuries among those on board.

However, the car's driver was trapped and later airlifted to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
