A Russian missile attack on Ukraine's largest children's hospital in Kyiv has left at least 41 civilians dead and 190 injured.
The strike, described as the deadliest this year, likely used a Kh-101 cruise missile containing Western components, despite sanctions.
The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine confirmed the direct hit on the hospital, dismissing Russian denials.
In response, Sweden's Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital has opened its doors to evacuated Ukrainian children.
This attack highlights Russia's continued targeting of civilian infrastructure and the ongoing challenges in enforcing sanctions effectively.
