Prominent dog trainer, Fredrik Steen, suggests that regulating dog breeding could help alleviate the problem of aggressive dogs in Sweden.
This comes after two serious dog attacks within a week.
Steen believes that while the County Administrative Board is great at animal husbandry, they lack the expertise to manage aggressive dogs, often found in criminal environments.
He suggests a joint effort from multiple authorities to address this issue.
His solutions include regulating breeding, improving tax office checks on puppy sellers, and providing education for dog owners.
He does not support banning certain breeds, as seen in Denmark and the UK.
