Serious disruptions struck Stockholm’s metro on Tuesday morning as all trains on the blue line were pulled out of service due to wheel damage.
SL reported that 60 train carriages, across 20 full-length trains, were affected.
The damage is believed to be caused by a faulty switch near Kungsträdgården station.
Replacement bus services are in place, but travelers are urged to find alternative routes and stay updated via the SL app or website.
SL warns that full service restoration could take several days.
