Stockholm's subway system faced significant disruptions on Thursday morning due to a switch failure on the green line, affecting lines 17, 18, and 19. The issue, which began around 6:30 AM, led to chaotic scenes at stations like Gullmarsplan, where commuters were left waiting for shuttle services between Gullmarsplan and Medborgarplatsen.

Although the problem was resolved by 10 AM, irregular traffic and some cancellations persisted throughout the day.

The red line also experienced delays due to a previous train fault, though these were resolved by mid-morning.

Commuters were advised to stay alert for sudden changes in train destinations and announcements from drivers.
