A massive fire broke out early Monday morning in a three-story apartment building in Tuna Backar, northern Uppsala.
The blaze, which started on a balcony, quickly spread to the attic and roof, prompting the evacuation of all residents.
Around 30 people were relocated to a nearby school and community center.
Firefighters have been working since 4:30 AM to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to adjacent buildings.
The roof has been allowed to burn under controlled conditions, with efforts focused on limiting further damage.
No injuries have been reported, and residents were briefly allowed to retrieve essential belongings.
