A significant fire erupted at the Youth Center in central Uppsala on Friday evening, causing extensive damage to the historic 19th-century building.
The blaze, which started in a skateboard ramp on the second floor, prompted a swift response from the fire department, deploying eight fire trucks from four stations.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames by 8 PM, ensuring no injuries were reported as all occupants were safely evacuated.
The police have cordoned off the area, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
The Youth Center, a cultural hub for local teenagers, is now under assessment for structural damage.
