A massive fire broke out in a multi-family building in Gottsunda, Uppsala, late Friday night, leading to the evacuation of around 40 residents.

The fire, which started in an apartment, quickly spread to the roof, affecting three stairwells.

Emergency services were alerted around 10:30 PM, and efforts to control the blaze are ongoing.

Despite the intensity of the flames, no injuries have been reported.

Residents have been temporarily relocated to a nearby community center.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities are working to prevent further spread to adjacent buildings.
