Gustav Hemming, the leader of the Center Party in Stockholm's regional council, has resigned from all his political duties with immediate effect following allegations of criminal activity.

The Center Party, upon receiving information about the suspicions, promptly forwarded it to the police.

Michaela Haga, the vice group leader, will temporarily assume leadership until a new leader is appointed.
