Ismail Abdo, the alleged leader of the criminal network Rumba, was arrested in Turkey but later released on bail for approximately 6,000 Swedish kronor.
The arrest, captured on film, showed Abdo wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a gun.
Abdo, who has powerful connections in Turkey, was previously involved in the Foxtrot network and is wanted in Sweden for serious drug offenses.
The circumstances surrounding his release remain unclear.
Swedish authorities and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs have no further information on the arrest.
