In a violent incident that shakes the international community, two Swedish citizens with ties to the country's criminal underworld were shot in Istanbul, Turkey.
The attack occurred at a café in the Sariyer district, just north of Istanbul, during what has been described as an "armed conflict" between two groups.
One of the Swedes, identified as a key figure in the so-called Zeronetwork, has died from his injuries, while the other sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.
The individuals are closely associated with Ismail Abdo, also known as "Jordgubben", a notorious gang leader linked to the Foxtrot conflict - a series of violent clashes that have rocked Sweden over the past year.
Turkish media reports that three suspects, described as Swedish citizens, fled the scene, and police have recovered a firearm and eight shell casings.
