A significant arrest has been made in the ongoing Danish-Swedish gang conflict, with a 30-year-old gang leader apprehended in Dubai.

This individual is closely allied with the internationally wanted Ismail Abdo from Uppsala, who is believed to be orchestrating operations from Turkey.

The arrest, confirmed by Danish police, is part of efforts to extradite the suspect to Denmark, where he faces charges related to attempted murder and weapons possession.

The conflict, fueled by the theft of several hundred kilos of hashish, has seen young Swedes recruited via social media to carry out violent acts in Denmark.

Authorities hope this arrest will help de-escalate tensions, although there is concern about potential retaliatory actions from the rival gang, Loyal to Familia.
