A high-ranking gang leader from Stockholm has been captured in Greece by Greek police.
The suspect, in his mid-20s, is believed to be behind numerous violent crimes and murders in Sweden during 2023 and 2024. He is accused of orchestrating attempted murders, kidnappings, aggravated assault, and serious weapons offenses, often utilizing the encrypted app Signal for coordination.
His capture was part of a large-scale cooperation between multiple countries and Europol, and efforts are now underway for his extradition back to Sweden.
This marks a significant victory in the battle against organized crime.
