In the early hours of Thursday morning, a fire broke out in a camping site in the forest near Mölndal, resulting in five adults being hospitalized with burn injuries.

A woman sustained life-threatening injuries, while another individual was airlifted with serious but non-life-threatening burns.

Three men in a neighboring tent also suffered burns and were sent to the hospital.

The incident is under investigation as suspected arson, with police securing the area for a technical examination.

Authorities are set to interview the involved individuals as the investigation continues.
