A tragic incident occurred early Sunday morning at Torsångs camping in Borlänge, where a camper was found engulfed in flames.

Emergency services were alerted around 4:00 AM and upon extinguishing the fire, discovered a deceased individual inside the burnt-out camper.

The identity of the victim remains unconfirmed, but police suspect it to be a man in his 60s who was using the camper.

His family has been notified.

Although there are no witnesses or clear evidence pointing to arson, the police have classified the incident as suspected arson to thoroughly investigate the cause.

The area remains cordoned off as forensic experts conduct their examination.
