A tragic accident occurred in Kalmar on Monday morning when a bus and a car collided at an intersection.

A 25-year-old man traveling in the car was taken to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive.

Another person from the car is in the hospital with unknown injuries.

The four people on the bus were unharmed.

Authorities have notified relatives and an investigation into the accident is underway.
