An explosion occurred at the entrance of an apartment building in Gullspång on Tuesday night, prompting a swift response from police and emergency services.

The blast was reported shortly after 11 PM, with residents describing a loud noise that shook the area.

Peter Brandels, a duty officer with the Skaraborg Rescue Service, confirmed that the door to the multi-family residence had been blown off but noted that no apartments appeared to be affected.

Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries.

Authorities are investigating the incident, and while a similar explosion occurred just minutes earlier in Hisingen, Gothenburg, police have stated it is too early to determine any connection between the two events.
