Former Swedish Chancellor of Justice Göran Lambertz, 75, is facing charges for violating Sweden's knife law.

In February, Lambertz was stopped at a security checkpoint in Svea Court of Appeal, where a Swiss army knife was found in his bag.

He claims to have forgotten the knife, which he used during a recent trip to Tenerife.

Lambertz has admitted to the offense, describing it as an act of negligence.

Prosecutors have proposed a fine of 14,500 SEK.

The case is being handled under expedited procedures, and Lambertz has expressed his acceptance of the legal process.
