Two men were arrested outside the Attunda district court in Sollentuna, north of Stockholm, on suspicion of serious firearms offenses.

The arrests took place during a police operation Wednesday morning, where one of the individuals was found in possession of a weapon-like object.

According to reports, the men are suspected of having gang affiliations and were allegedly at the court to carry out a shooting, possibly linked to an ongoing trial related to last year's murders in Farsta.

Police have yet to confirm these details, but the seized weapon is currently under examination by forensic technicians.

In response to the incident, additional surveillance cameras were installed outside the courthouse.
